Benefits of LNG

Liquefied natural gas or LNG is natural gas (predominantly methane) converted temporarily to liquid form for ease of storage and transport. Liquefied natural gas takes up about 1/600th of the volume of natural gas in the gaseous state. LNG offers an energy density comparable to diesel fuels and produces less pollution

Natural gas is the cleanest of all fossil fuels. It hardly contains sulphur and few carbon oxides, which contribute to the acid environments. Burning natural gas results in relatively large amounts of water and little of the green house gas carbon dioxide. Also, it is almost free of soot and small particles.

Natural gas is relatively safe, because it is not as dense as  air. LPG on the contrary can form a so-called flammable blanket on the ground.

While diesel fuel prices keep rising, the price of natural gas remains relatively low. This results from a surplus of natural gas on the World market. Enough reasons to make the transition to this clean fuel now.
